1. Introduction & Acceptance

Mvuvi BlueConnect ("the Platform") is a digital marketplace operated by [Insert Legal Entity Name], a company incorporated under the laws of Kenya. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Kenyan law.

3. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. User Roles & Responsibilities

  • USER (MAMASAMAKI): Browse facilities, make bookings, manage bookings, report inappropriate content.
  • PARTNER: Register and manage storage facilities, respond to booking requests, ensure accurate listings, comply with Kenyan law.
  • ADMIN: Review facility listings, moderate content, enforce terms, maintain platform integrity.

5. Booking & Transaction Terms

Bookings follow a status lifecycle: PENDING → CONFIRMED → ACTIVE → COMPLETED, or any stage → CANCELLED. When a partner confirms a booking, it becomes binding on both parties. Cancellation and refund terms are set by individual partners.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not violate any applicable law, post illegal or harmful content, impersonate others, interfere with platform operations, collect personal data without consent, or use the platform for fraudulent activities. Specific marketplace prohibitions include false listings, misleading claims, and discrimination.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We employ graduated enforcement: minor violations receive warnings, moderate violations may result in temporary suspension (7-30 days), and severe violations (fraud, safety threats, illegal activity) result in immediate permanent ban. You may appeal within 14 days.

8. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes should first be resolved informally. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya. Class actions are waived.
