This Acceptable Use Policy sets out standards of conduct for all Users of Mvuvi BlueConnect, including MAMASAMAKI (fish traders), Partners (storage facility operators), and ADMINs. It supplements the Terms of Service.
Facility listings must be accurate and truthful, with real photos and valid documents. Bookings must contain accurate contact information and realistic dates. User communications must remain professional and respectful.
We employ a three-tier moderation system: (1) Automated DTO validation and keyword filters, (2) Human ADMIN review before publication, (3) Escalation for complex cases. All enforcement actions include a written statement of reasons.
Users may appeal enforcement actions by submitting a written appeal to appeal@mvuvi.co.ke within 14 days. Appeals are reviewed by a neutral ADMIN within 7 business days. The outcome is final, but users may escalate to the ODPC or Kenyan courts.
Report violations to report@mvuvi.co.ke or via the in-platform reporting mechanism. Include the type of violation, URL/identifier, description, and supporting evidence. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 5 business days.
We publish annual transparency reports detailing enforcement actions, complaints received, and resolution times. Moderation records are retained for 7 years and are available to the ODPC and law enforcement upon request.
